Meet the Fraughtons!

I've decided to jump on the bandwagon.  I'm starting this blog so that I can share with everyone Tuff's growth, our family stories and experiences, and also too help me keep track of things to later jot down in my journals.

Although I want to go back and share all of the wonderful stories of before Tyrel and I were married, and all our adventures being newly weds, I'm also extremely anxious to share our current life! So I'll use this first post to outline how our little family got started.

The First meeting:
When I was in  8th grade I remember sitting in my math class annoyed.  The boy who sat behind me was constantly tapping on my shoulder, and poking me in the sides with his stupid pen that was made out of a hunting arrow.  Little did I know that that super annoying 9th grade boy, would turn out to be the love of my life!

Fast Forward 2 years.   Sitting in my 10th grade math class on the first day of school I notice same said "Annoying Boy."  Only definitely not annoying and incredibly good looking! I was extremely shy, and afraid of rejection so I made no attempt to try to talk to him.  Besides, he was super hot, and wearing a football uniform so he was probably wayyy too cool for me anyway.  If only I had known that he was thinking the exact same things about me! :)

Me as a Sophomore
Tyrel as a Junior

Finally in November I saw Cute Boy talking to a couple of my girlfriends at lunch.  I remember mentioning to my best friend that I HAD to go over and talk with that group of girls in hopes that he and I would bump shoulders.  We definitely bumped shoulders and he and I hit it off right away.  He had the most amazing smile complete with the cutest dimples! We talked until the lunch bell rang and when we parted ways all that was exchanged was a simple "see ya around!"  As I walked with my best friend to our lockers, Cute Boy walked up behind us, put his hand on the small of my back, leaned in and whispered, "don't forget to do your math homework."

After a date at the zoo
Muuuussshhh! I was instantly mush! I had never kissed a boy, had never held hands, danced, nor hugged a boy, and this insanely good looking boy had just whispered in my ear AND touched my back!  Best friend was blushing with me.  She looked over at me and said "he is sooo cute!!"

The First Kiss:
We seriously had the WORST first kiss! I had never ever kissed a boy.  I had no idea how it worked, or when/ who was supposed to initiate it.  So after eating Thanksgiving dinner, I was invited to his cousins house to watch them play xbox....

Sitting on the couch watching his cousin play games, Tyrel started tickling me.  Bringing his nose within an inch of my nose.  He did this a few times, all the while my tummy is turning worrying that he was going to kiss me and then think that I was a terrible kisser because I had no idea what to do!

He swooped by one more time, and without even thinking, I sat up and kissed him!  "What the heck did I just do?!" Was all I could remember thinking.  Tyrel sat up straight and did a little, " WA-HA-ELL!" He had a smirk on his pretty face when he looked over at his cousin and said "I'm going to take her home."
We were always up to something!
I felt like such an idiot! He took me home that night and kissed me good night.  I remember feeling like such a dirty girl! I wasn't quite 16.  Probably 2 weeks shy. Don't worry though, the kissing got much much better ;)

We hung out a few times, and he showed no signs of ever asking me to be his girl, or having a "date" so I did everything I could to get to him.  We were in our first night of Christmas break, December 21, 2005, and after a night of hanging out with his friends and flirting relentlessly with his best friend, he got upset, took me out under the deck of our friends house, and asked me to be his girlfriend!

Snowboarding was one of our favorite things to do together
History:
We were asked not to see each other after dating for 4 months, but being the rebellious kids we *were, we dated all through high school.  Off and on of course.  Still trying to figure out the kinks of a relationship, and growing up.

About a year after graduating, and on the eve of our 4th anniversary of dating, Tyrel took me on the most fun date I've ever been on.  We did everything we loved to do together, mini golfing, batting cage, dinner, movie, and at about 11:45 p.m. that night, he took me to a gas station where a horse drawn carriage was waiting for us.  He had a lot of blankets ready to go and we jumped in and took a ride up and down the street.  As the clock struck midnight, he got down on his knee, well tried to.  The carriage was the tiniest thing I'd ever seen.  So a 6 foot 2 boy who is all legs, trying to kneel down on a knee didn't work all that well.  He got shaky as could be, his voice was trembling when he told me everything he loved about me and the reasons why he couldn't live without me. Then he pulled out a softball.  Softball was my game in case you didn't know.  I lived, breathed, ate, slept, and dreamed about nothing but softball. I think softball was my safe place in life.  It was the one place I was okay, when everything else around me was falling apart.  That was until I met Tyrel.

Inside the softball, was a ring.  He shed a few tears, and then asked me to marry him.

Our wedding day
Now:
Now here we are! We've been married for 3 years and some change.  Definitely had our ups and downs.  Cried, laughed, loved, and suffered together. We now have the most perfect son togther.  I couldn't have chosen a more perfect person to share my life with.  We have the same interests, and same beliefs.  I love this man more than I ever imagined I could love someone.  The fact that Tyrel gets along with my family, and is so close with my dad is the best thing that could have happened.  They are more father and son, than father-in-law and son-in-law.  That's every girls dream!

Now that you know a little on our back ground, I'm way way excited to share with you the current things going on in our lives!
